Suzannah Ball
Suzannah joined WME in 2019 and is based in the London office. She works with a wide range of authors across the WME Book department and is building her own list with an emphasis on romance, horror and fantasy.
Alongside her US colleagues she represents the UK interests of various clients including Sarah A. Parker, SenLinYu, and romance authors Ivy Fairbanks, Annie Crown and Peyton Corinne. She loves finding books the right home outside of their primary market.
In the UK, she is looking for a story that will immediately sweep you away. In fiction specifically she wants to find commercial and upmarket writing that sparks joy, be that through comedy, quirky coming of age stories, or swoon-worthy romance. She also loves speculative fiction and fantasy in the vein of Deborah Harkness, Sarah J Maas, and Dianne Wynne Jones. She wants to read anything that introduces a bold new world.
In non-fiction she is drawn to a strong narrative voice and is obsessed with all things pop culture, entertainment, and the arts.
Some of her favourite books include EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT LOVE by Dolly Alderton, THE MAN WHO NEVER CALLED by Rosie Walsh, BOY PARTS by Eliza Clark, IN AT THE DEEP END by Kate Davies, or anything by Emily Henry.
