The International Rights team is dedicated to representing authors in translation.  We provide bespoke strategies that focus on every client’s specific priorities and goals. Our driving ambition is to access a diverse global audience and amplify the reach of our authors around the world.

We work directly in the major markets throughout the world. Our deep editor and publisher relationships serve to benefit our authors and their work. Our team travels frequently to international markets — in the past year alone, our agents have travelled to visit publishers in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Finland, Mexico, and Korea.  

We’re involved in every step of the international publication process and aim to give every author a “home” publication experience.  As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, there are more opportunities than ever for books to touch readers all around the globe. WME’s unique resources help our authors be at the forefront of cultural intersections and the global exchange of information, experience, and art.
